Digital Gears developed an MVP product: a web app to simplify Smart City collaboration with local governments. As a comprehensive platform, it encourages quick reports about local issues, enables business registration in 30 minutes, and acts as a bridge between professionals and local governments. It’s an innovative solution working on multiple fronts, from simplifying the company registration process, addressing business challenges, and aiding young companies in establishing themselves and finding trusted partners and customers to finding skilled workers in one mobile app.

Navigating through bureaucracy and slow governmental project approvals posed significant challenges, along with establishing a secure and user-friendly link between new companies and governments. Achieving clarity in a complicated workflow setup while maintaining the usability of mobile app, GDPR compliance, and security were also crucial.

Implementing AI tools for initial document assessments, creating separate accounts for each government official to maintain a clear hierarchy, and using standard German documents simplified online company registration. For enhanced security and GDPR compliance, shared documents are not saved on the server but are directly transferred to the designated government official.

We successfully launched a demo version of the mobile app, localized for Lingen Ems, alongside a demo website app, which currently features business registration as its sole function.
